Kim Cotterman
Mrs. Indiana United States 2009

Kim Cotterman’s young life revolved around baton twirling and entertaining at local and state events.  Later as Ball State University’s feature twirler Kim obtained additional stipend for college, worked two jobs and competed in the Miss America system as ways to fund her education.  Her perseverance paid off when she graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

For the past 9 years, Kim has been busy in the non-profit arena as a spokesperson for Indiana Organ Procurement Organization, the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana and working with other local organizations. She is the recipient of various community service awards including the Miss American Community Service Award.  Currently working for the Membership Services Department at Westview Healthplex in Indianapolis, Kim works to bring awareness to fitness issues.  The biggest news in Kim’s life is that she is married to Brent Cotterman and they are new homeowners.
