Ginny Meerman
Mrs. Maryland United States 2009 Ginny and Chris Meerman have been married for 22 years. Their dedication and commitment to one another has provided them the greatest opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of many. Ginny is one of the nations foremost advocates and volunteers, dedicating more than 20 years to helping others through her involvement with various homelessness, hunger-relief and child protection organizations, as well founding “Friends of Food Link”, a food rescue non-profit in Maryland. She proudly wears her many “titles” – wife, mother, businesswoman, advocate, mentor, Rotarian, and as of May 24th when she fulfilled one of her dreams, “Mrs. Maryland United States”. “God is good…and in control. I’m looking forward to not only being the best Mrs. Maryland I can be, but also going to Las Vegas in July to speak to the hearts of the judges, and hopefully fulfill an even greater dream…to be Mrs. United States 2009!”
