Mrs. Utah, Karmel Larson, shares her platform “Declaring Decency: Engaging Civic Leaders, Educators and Families in a T.E.A.M. Effort to Stand For Decency,” nationally on her weekly radio show as well as working with a different population of leadership each month in the areas of Treatment, Education, Activism and Monitoring.

As a fulltime homemaker, Karmel uses her university education as a licensed social worker for community volunteerism as President of the Utah Valley Chapter of American Mothers.  Now on the Board of Directors, she promotes the White Ribbon Campaign, a national effort to "Fight Pornography and Stand For Decency".   She also serves as Director for the Parents Television Council, Utah County Liaison for Citizens For Families and the Utah Coalition Against Pornography. 

An avid Blogger, gardener and reader, Karmel enjoys meditation, continually challenging herself to new heights. Her greatest joy is at home with husband, Brigham and their four beautiful children.
