Holly Ernst
Mrs. Minnesota United States 2009 “It’s a kid’s job to be a kid, and it is our job as a community to protect them.” These are words child safety advocate Holly Ernst lives by. A certified spokesperson for the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, Holly has spoken to 20,000+ people promoting her abduction prevention platform, “Keeping Our Children Safe.” Holly is on the JWRC Board of Directors and is a former Vice-President of the Children’s Hospital Association. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Holly earned a B.A. in Political Science. Holly and her husband Matthew are proud parents to a four-year-old daughter, Ava. Currently a professional image consultant, Holly was previously a top sales representative for Glaxo-SmithKline Pharmaceuticals. An avid guitar player since age 7, Holly is also an accomplished vocalist. Holly has a self-proclaimed “black belt” in shopping, and enjoys skiing, staying fit, traveling, and reading. Holly maintains a balanced lifestyle with a commitment to family, fitness, volunteerism, and spirituality.
