Nikki Peterson

With three older brothers and a basketball coach father, Nikki was raised to be tough and stand on her own two feet! She graduated from APSU with a Bachelors in Business Marketing and Masters in Sports Administration. She was hired as one of the youngest Directors of Sports Marketing for a NCAA Division I University. Nikki’s ultimate passion is the sport of dance. Through national competition and teaching, she showcases her love for the art and uses it to inspire beauty in others. Nikki is the Special Events Coordinator for APSU and Director of the Miss River Queen and Teen pageants. She supports breast cancer awareness through Susan G. Komen and WBCA’s “Pink Zone”. Nikki helped raise over $16,000 for the Middle TN Medical Center and Kay Yow Fund. Nikki is married to Jake Peterson, baseball coach for APSU, and believes in finding the opportunity in all of life’s experiences
