California Director

Janice McQueen Ward, is an actress, speaker, advocate, wife, mom, and musician. Janice studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts, the University of North Carolina and Elon University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. Janice is an accomplished TV Host, Actress, Flutist and Singer. Janice began her career in pageants at 17, winning over 10 titles, including Mrs. United States. As Mrs. United States 1999, Janice traveled the nation as a spokesperson for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The American Cancer Society and The American Heart Association, and was a special guest of President and Mrs. Clinton, Motherís Day, May 2000. She was honored with the invitation of addressing the Senate and the US Conference of Mayors as an advocate of National Volunteer Week. Since moving to Los Angeles, California in 2001, Janice signed with DDO Artists Agency, and has guest starred on many shows, including Two and a Half Men, Veronica Mars, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Passions. You can currently see Janice as a Celebrity Guest Host on ShopHQ. In addition to being an actress and host, Janice is the Executive Producer/Director for Ms. Woman United States Pageant and Mrs. California United States Pageant. Janice resides in Santa Monica, California with her husband Tony and son Cameron.
